- IPD Physician
The responsibilities of the IPD physician includ
Visiting the patient within the first hour of admission.
Coordinating with the attending physician and obtaining the initial medical orders.
Coordinating with the head nurse and the nursing office to ensure that paraclinical procedures and medical consultations are performed as quickly as possible.
Conducting daily visits to the patient.
Coordinating with the electronic medical record and institutional website administrator to prepare the patient's electronic medical record.
Cooperating with the attending physician to prepare the patient's medical summary and medical documents in English.
Following up on any emergency events or complications that may occur during the patient's hospitalization, including within the first 24 hours.
Providing the patient with sufficient information regarding the complaint procedure and the course of treatment.

The responsibilities of the IPD coordinator include:
Maintaining continuous presence in the International Patient Department.
Welcoming the international patient upon arrival at the medical institution.
Providing the international patient with the necessary information regarding the services and facilities available at the medical institution.
Making the necessary arrangements for the admission of the international patient to the medical institution.
Informing the IPD physician and the attending physician upon admission of the international patient.
Guiding and introducing the international patient to the ward where the patient will be hospitalized.
Assisting with translation and facilitating communication between the international patient and the medical and nursing staff during hospitalization.
Coordinating between different departments within the medical institution to facilitate and expedite the provision of services to the international patient.
Evaluating and improving the international patient's satisfaction during their stay at the medical institution.
Carrying out the necessary procedures and arrangements for the discharge of the international patient.
Making the necessary arrangements and coordinating with the relevant company or travel services office.
Registering the international patient's information in the Ministry of Health's Health Tourism Information System.

The responsibilities of the attending physician include:
Assuming full technical and legal responsibility for all medical services provided to the international patient.
Providing all necessary medical services to the international patient as promptly as possible while adhering to the principles of medical ethics.
Providing the patient with an approved medical summary in English, which must include the diagnosis, type of service provided, description of the surgical procedure performed, and necessary post-discharge recommendations.
Providing the international patient with a contact number and ensuring 24-hour accessibility so that the patient can contact the attending physician in the event of any problem or complication.

Responsibilities of the IPD nurse: The IPD nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating nursing care and services required by international patients throughout their admission and hospitalization, in accordance with the medical orders and the policies of the medical institution.
